This talked influenced me as a young man; probably not because my motives were completely pure–there was some aspiring going on no doubt, some wanting to achieve, to make a name, to have influence. But Christ’s example of being willing to submit to all things has helped me overcome those tendencies in large part. He really is the perfect leader.
