While attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Scout training week at Philmont in July 2011, I had a feeling I would like to develop some additional scout training materials, in addition to my Woodbadge Ticket Project, the LDS-BSA Dictionary. Here are some of the materials I have developed over the years:
- The LDS-BSA Dictionary helped LDS and BSA volunteers understand each other better, by translating between the two significant languages used to encourage development of young men.LDS-BSA BSA-LDS Dictionary 2011-07-07LDS-BSA BSA-LDS Dictionary Compact 2011-09-11
- This was a set of two slides used to give new young men leaders a sense of their responsibilities, and the resources available to them in fulfilling those.Compact Training Slides for YM Leaders v6
- This was a set of slides to leaders understand the new Duty To God program when it was introduced.Strengthening YM through DTG v1.2 20110911
- This YouTube playlist contains a link to all my training videos about scouting, including videos the LDS-BSA dictionary, a set of conversations about scouting topics with John Cuccaro, and other little analogies.
