Why do we let ourselves be angry? Anger doesn’t hurt the other person. Anger is the one emotion with energy attached to it. If instead of burning that energy by feeling angry, we take action of some kind, measured, thoughtful action, we have a better chance of fixing the underlying problem.

“And why should I yield to sin, because of my flesh? Yea, why should I give way to temptations, that the evil one have place in my heart to destroy my peace and afflict my soul? Why am I angry because of mine enemy?” (2 Nephi 4:27)
