In an temple recommend interview with President Jerry Elmer, he took a significant amount of time to talk to me about Worship.  He asked me what Worship meant, and I admit I was a bit stumped.  What does it mean to worship?

We have images that might come to mind, like bowing down to something.  But we do not do that physically in Sacrament meeting when we come together to worship.  So what is the definition of Worship.

He answered the question, based upon his study and experience, that it was communion with the divine.  That is the essence of worship.
